Wed Sept 2 - NO Extra Help Today
In Class we did,
- introductions with each other, textbook, PRS.
- PER 1 - Senior Meetings
- Do the first day questionaire, AND fill out the LAD Safety contract AND return (signed) the 4 (6 if you wish) Homebase Materials (QUIZ grade)
- page 1 of student Handbook / acceptable computer use / yellow emergency form / green free and reduced lunch form (Optional: NCTV & Publicity release forms
- Read and do the PreLAD for LAD 1.1 - Copper Chloride (I will collect the PreLAD questions, and check on your data/results table.)
- Bring in your summer textbooks and answer guides.
In Class we did,
- PRS - review ch 1
- preview then do LAD 1.1 - Copper chloride
- more PRS - review ch 1 (during the 30 min wait-time)
- read chapter 1(pgs 3-27)
- get working on problems at the end of chapter 1 (pg29) 11, 13, 15, 19, 23, 31, 35, 37, 51, 58, 64, 67
In Class we did,
- finish LAD 1.1 - Copper chloride
- more PRS (and T/F) for ch 1
- review the iron oxide summer problems
- finish processing the data and answering the post-LAD questions for LAD 1.1 - Copper Chloride
- read and do the PreLAD for LAD 1.2 - Synthesis of Alum
- Finish reading and working problems in chapter 1 - You should email me to let me know of problems that you need help with, that way I am ready to project the question and so we can have a quicker discussion about it.
- If you can find extra time this weekend, you can get a jump on chapter 2 which should be mostly review. (pgs 35-65) and problems that you should be able to solve (starting on pg 66) 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 14, 1, 16, 17, 19, 38, 39, 41, 46, 50, 53, 55, 56, 60, 78, 83, 92, 96
