Outside of class you should,
- If you can find extra time this weekend, you can get a jump on chapter 2 which should be mostly review. (pgs 35-65) and problems that you should be able to solve (starting on pg 66) 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 14, 1, 16, 17, 19, 38, 39, 41, 46, 50, 53, 55, 56, 60, 78, 83, 92, 96
Tues Sept 8 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- some clicker questions (PRS-ch1)
- over ch prob 51 dimensional analysis strategies
- collect LAD 1.2 PreLAD data tables
- Over the LAD 1.2 reactions, then work on the PRELAD
- Discuss LAD 1.1 results and questions
- more clicker questions as time allows
- finish up the LAD 1.2 PreLAD Practice that we worked on in class today.
- If you haven’t started, you must get going in chapter 2 and finish what you can. You do NOT want to get behind. Remember to email me with any prpblems that you have with the problems, so I can be prepared to answer your questions in class. (See the pages and problem set assigned above.)

- LAD 1.2 - Synthesis of Alum
- Finish up chapter 2 problems
- (oops - I had posted only P 3.2) do P 3.1 - Stoichiometry (Look on the Ch 3 documents page for it)
Thur Sept 10 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- finish up LAD 1.2 - Synthesis of Alum
- Naming polyatomic ions, solubility
- Work on P 3.2 - Stoichiometry
- Thus time, you really can work on P 3.1 - Stoichiometry (Look on the Ch 3 documents page for it) You should find it very straight forward review.
- P 3.2 - Stoichiometry Problems (These problems are more like authentic AP free response questions.) Please try them, we will go over them in class on Mon.
- Time to get reading chapter 3 - this also should feel somewhat like review. (pgs 75-103) and problems that you should be able to solve (starting on pg 104) 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 23, 29, 31, 33, 39, 43, 45, 47, 55, 57, 59, 62, 69, 71, 73, 75, 77, 79, 84, 86, 87
Fri Sept 11 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- Clicker Practice form chapter 1
- AP Practice Free Response question on Stoichiometry
- Work on the apx-stoichiometry (apx stands for APeXam which means theses are authentic AP exam questions (posted on the ch 123 document page. You’ll see I’ve revised the website a bit.)
- Keep working on reading and practice in chapter 3. You really want to try to get MOST (if not all) of it done by Monday.
- go back and work on P 3.2 if you haven’t already.
