Mon Sept 28 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- more balancing redox, learning to split redox reactions into half reactions
- Using Eº values, understanding what makes a reaction spontaneous, positive cell potentials
- prepare for a stoichiometry free response
- if you didn’t already, do the preLAD for LAD 4.2 - Redox titration
- Remind your parents (or other important adults in your life) that they should be planning to come in and see me on Thursday
Tues Sept 29 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- Hand in the LAD 4.2 - Redox Titration PreLAD
- Free Response Test 3.1 - Stoichiometry (Chapters 1,2,3)
- Procedure 1 of LAD 4.2 - Redox Titration
- Outside of class you should,
- Review your practice test - asking yourself, “Why did she ask this question? What was I supposed to learn from this question?”
- Remind your parents about Parent/Teacher Night on Thursday at 6:30
Wed Sept 30 - NO Extra Help Today
In Class we did,
- MC Test 3.1 - Stoichiometry (Chapters 1,2,3)
- Quizzes are coming on which you will need to know the polyatomic ions and the solubility rules.
- Start studying the 7 page document on Net Ionic Equations. Read through pages 1-4, 7 (These should be review) STUDY pages 1 & 2
- Remind your parents to come in so I can fill my room on Parent/Teacher Night this Thursday at 6:30
Thur Oct 1 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- continue with LAD 4.2 - Redox Titration
- Get studying the AP Notes: Conquering Net Ionic Equations - Question #4
- Memorizing the important polyatomic ions and the solubility rules. STUDY pg 1-4 and 7, they should be review.
- As your parents to come in and see me, 6:30 pm
Fri Oct 2 - Extra Help Available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- finish LAD 4.2 - Redox Titration
- Net ionic clicker questions
