In Class we did,
  • How to calculate Moles from mass, #items, volume of a solution and volume of a gas.
  • very brief review of the combined gas law
  • PER 1 - Senior Meetings
Outside of class you should, (All documents are located on the appropriate Unit's documents page.)
  • Use NS D.1 - The relationship between P, V, n, and T for gases to work on the practice listed below. (You may also find sections 10.3 and 10.4 of your textbook helpful.
  • Work on P D.1 - Combined Gas Law Problems (This same document is posted on the unit D documents page and if you download it, you can see the worked out answers and check your work. Send me an email if you think you need me to go over any particular problem(s) in class.
  • On the unit A document page you will find the LAD Safety contract, (or use this link) then fill it out the return it. (AND PER 1 must also return the 4 Homebase Materials listed below (returning these materials in a timely manner will count as a QUIZ grade)

    • acceptable computer use policy
    • gold health form
    • free and reduced lunch form in envelope
    • (Optional: Publicity release forms)
  • If you have not finished your practice tests, please do so and be sure that they come with you to class in your notebook.

  • Nomenclature review
  • Clicker Questions (PRS A1)
Outside of class you should,
  • Read and do the PreLAD for LAD A.1 - Copper Chloride (I will collect the PreLAD questions, and check on your data/results table on Tuesday.)
  • Review your naming of ionic compounds and solubility for a practice quiz on Tuesday.
  • Please fill out the "Getting to know you" Info sheet - return it to me on Tues. If you need one, here it is.
    • A few of you still need to bring in a contract or other Homebase Materials.
  • If you have not finished your summer practice tests (Chapters 1, 2 & 3), please do so and be sure that they come with you to class in your notebook.
