Mon Mar 1 - No extra help - Faculty Meeting
In Class we did,

• ionic (lattice energy) vs molecular bonding

Outside of class you should,

• ALERT - some of you never handed in LAD 15.2 Ksp. Please look for it and turn it in tomorrow
• study for a FR quiz for Periodicity (Ch 6 & 7, not 21). We will do one right at 7:30 (DON’T Be Late) as the Senior Meeting does not start til 7:45.
• in chapter 8 read pgs 276-294 take the time to do the sample exercises in the tan boxes 8.1-8.9
• at the back of the chapter (pg 308) do problems 28, 29, 30, 32-35, 43-46
• Please bring in your permission slip if you haven’t already

Tues Mar 2 - No Extra help available - Olympiad Practice

• PLEASE - DO a drive-by in chapter 9. In particular, there are loft of pictures and diagrams. Look at all of them and read the captions. It will be well worth the time spend looking at all the pictures and reading the captions of those pictures in chapter 9 (skipping the later sections - reading pgs 315-342)
• Do problems 15 & 16 on pg 357

• PLEASE go back and have a look at the 2009 and 2008 and perhaps 2007 Olympiad tests. They are posted under the Olympiad Link (top menue choices) in the side bar
• Consider getting started in chapter 11 with a drive-by reading pages 407-440 (Looking at the pictures & graphs and reading the captions as well)
