Week 13 (5/3-5/7) - Scroll down to the appropriate day
Mon May 3 - No extra help - Department Head Meeting
In Class we did,
  • PER 2 - Fire drill !
  • Quiz 8.2 - Reactions
  • LAD 8.6 - Combustion (# 1, 2)
Outside of class you should,
  • do the PreLAD for LAD 9.2 - Single Replacement Rx (Per 3 - you got this LAD in class, Per 2 must get it off the ch 9 document page)
  • work on NS 8.6 - Combustion
  • do P 8.6 - Combustion

Tues May 4
- Extra help available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
  • more LAD 8.6 - Combustion (including incomplete combustion)
  • start LAD 9.2 - Stoichiometry of a Single Replacement Rx
Outside of class you should,
  • Fix up your LAD 9.2 - Data/Results Table
    • Be sure it is neat, a title, the two reactions requested in the preLAD should be on the table somewhere.
    • Be sure you include all the process the data in your listed items
    • Set up sample calculations for each calculated item.
  • Work on P 8.7 - Reactions Review
  • Test on Friday 5/ 7 on Chapters 7 & 8
  • Mole Analogy Project is due on Monday 5/10

Wed May 5 - Extra help available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
  • PRS - questions
  • return reaction quiz
  • finish up LAD 8.6 - Combustion
  • continue day 2 of LAD 9.2 - Stoichiometry of SR Reaction
  • redox song if time - elephant toothpaste for per 2?
Outside of class you should,
  • ACTIVE study for a test on Friday - no excuses, no retakes.
  • Use your notesheets, Practices and LAD sheets. Please not that there are answer keys to each of the LAD sheets posted on line
