- broad overview of stoichiometry problems - Using bicycles as a model
- sample stoichiometry problem
- PER 2 - do the stoich page 3 to LAD 9.1 handed out in class today
- Read and use NS 9.3 - Stoichiometry and Percent Yield
- work on (at least 3 problems, maybe more if you need to) P 9.3 - Stoichiometry and percent yield
- PLEASE email me about the problems you are struggling with, then I will know where you’re at for class tomorrow.
Tues May 11 - Extra help available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- In-Class Stoichiometry Practice
- Nail down these stoichiometry practice problems by working on P 9.6 - Stoichiometry Review
- Could be a quiz on Wed
- NO excuses - make a QUALITY data table for LAD 9.4 - Limiting reactants. I will check it tomorrow for a quiz grade.
Wed May 12 - No Extra Help - I have an away game (unless it gets rained out)
In Class we did,
- Stoichiometry quiz
- start LAD 9.4 - Limiting Reactant
- Many of you need to get with some of the practices on the ch 9 document page and PRACTICE
- remember that there is a live scribe document page - try that problem and then use the live scribe if you need help.
Thurs May 13 - Extra help available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- finish LAD 9.4 - Limiting Reactants
- For LAD 9.4 finish processing the data, including making the graph (on excel please) - Class data is on the document page
- Answer the questions to ponder for LAD 9.4
Fri May 14 - Extra help available, sign up in class.
In Class we did,
- over graphs and questions for LAD 9.4 - Limiting Reactant
- over part of ch 7&8 test
- do P 9.7 - LAD practice
- Prepare your LAD 9.4 to turn in (Per 3 due on Tues, Per 2 due on Wed)
- Data/Results table with Rx, observations and calculations
- Annotated Graph
- Practice more Stoichiometry - many of you need to keep working at it to get better and FASTER. Use any of the Practices that are posted.
- P 9.8 - Stoichiometry Review has been posted
- Many of you need to go back and review your ch 7 & 8 - there will be a retest available any day next week, please let me know on Mon which day you will do it.
